The first sip is soft thanks to a healthy dose of wheat in the grist. The bitterness is there, but it’s restrained, a gentle kiss on the palate rather than a punch in the face. The fruit flavors from the aroma come through loud and clear, juicy mango and tropical fruit from the Citra. The Centennial adds a layer of classic pine back note and a nice, subtle orange peel character that keeps it from being a one-note fruit bomb.
